WHAT IS I JUST MURDERED THE ALPHABET? <\/h3>\n

My exhibition I Just Murdered The Alphabet<\/a> combines hip-hop punchlines, lettering experiments, and savage craft creations.
\nI presented the artworks at Sergeant Paper<\/a> in Paris in October 2012.

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ART SHOW? <\/h3>\n

THE 500+ HANDMADE TYPES are inspired by everything from graffiti to sign painting to psychedelic art.
\nI Just Murdered The Alphabet pays tribute to hip-hop culture, with 102 meaningful rap punchlines drawn in a slick style.
\nThe series also introduces an imaginary tribe I call La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Des Griffeurs.<\/p>\n

WHAT IS LA SOCIETE DES GRIFFEURS? <\/h3>\n

LA SOCIETE DES GRIFFEURS is a group of teenagers born and raised in the Parisian suburbs.
\nAfter traveling to Borneo in Indonesia, they build a secret community based on freedom and animatistic instincts.
\nThey find philosophical values in hip-hop culture. (To be continued…)<\/p>\n

BEYOND I JUST MURDERED THE ALPHABET <\/h3>\n

This exhibition was part of a week of art events. <\/strong>
\nAfter the solo art exhibition, I did a Mega party<\/a> at the Favela Chic Club, I launched l’Attrape R\u00eave by Mega<\/a>, and did a signature session at the prestigious contemporary art center Palais De Tokyo<\/a>.

The title of the exhibition comes from one of the artwork. Eminem infamous punchline “I just murdered the alphabet” was the inspiration for this title.<\/p><\/div>\n
